Style Basics: The Canadian Tuxedo

Sometimes you wake up and you don't even know where to begin when it comes to getting dressed. So here is a series of posts geared towards making that process easier.

My go to outfit is "The Canadian Tuxedo." The denim on denim look is nothing new. This look has been around for decades and has been represented in a variety ways. It has gone from fashion faux pas to fashion staple, but that doesn't mean that it's an easy look to pull off.

Do's

Contrasting Denims:
Wearing denims that are too close in wash is one error you don't want to make.  If it looks like you are a part-time Janitor you might want to reevaluate.

 Layering:
Layering allows for you to blend the denims. Don't be afraid to throw on a crew neck sweater over your denim shirt or a trench coat over a denim jacket. It will be little things like this that will take your look to the next level.

Nicki Minaj is Back With a Vendetta

By now a lot of you have seen or heard the new song "Looking Ass Nigga" from rapper Nicki Minaj. The track in the simplest of terms is a three minute rant about liars, Scammers, and Free loaders.

Nicki has definitely made some waves with this song, sparking tons of feed back on social media oulets such as Twitter and Instagram. Many of her fans have been penning their own freestyles boosting about their experiences with Looking Ass Niggas/Bitches.

Showing why "Less is More". Nicki shows off a new look; ditching the Avante Garde fashion and pastel colored hair she delivers old Nicki with modern sex appeal. The Visuals for the track are simple yet stunningly beautiful. The juxtaposition of the song with the  video lends for a perfect balance of grit and seduction.
